Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Actuary to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. You will leverage your expertise in risk assessment and quantitative analysis to provide insightful recommendations and support strategic decisions for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze pricing strategies for new products.
  • Assist in regulatory reporting and submissions related to actuarial calculations.
  • Work with data scientists to enhance predictive analytics capabilities.
  • Support product development teams with insights on pricing and risk.
  • Conduct experience studies to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead actuarial projects and mentor junior actuaries in best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
  • Master's degree in a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience
