Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to oversee and manage engineering projects in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while adhering to quality standards, deadlines, and budgets. This role requires strong leadership, technical abilities, and excellent communication skills to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and scheduling activities.
• Facilitate collaboration among engineering teams and contractors.
• Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage project documentation and reporting.
• Conduct quality assurance and inspections.
• Prepare final project reports and summaries.
• Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in engineering project management preferred.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• MS Project

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
