Job Description

We are seeking an HVAC Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and hands-on experience in HVAC systems design and implementation. This role entails working on projects that require innovative solutions to optimise energy efficiency and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, adjust, and implement plans for energy-efficient HVAC systems.
• Ensure project compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Review and manage project timelines to ensure completion dates are met.
• Work with contractors and site personnel to ensure installation adheres to design specifications.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients and management.
• Continuous improvement of existing HVAC systems through analysis and feedback.
• Assist in developing system maintenance protocols.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for reliable equipment sourcing.
• Attend and participate in project meetings and site inspections.
• Advise clients on the best practices for HVAC system operation and maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience with a focus on HVAC systems and energy-efficient designs.
