Chemical Engineer

Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Rustenburg. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing chemical processes to ensure safety and efficiency. Candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development projects from concept to implementation.
• Monitor and report on process performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans for chemical equipment.
• Support regulatory audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
• Train junior engineers and interns on best practices in chemical engineering.
• Evaluate and adopt new process technologies.
• Participate in the development of sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
• Professional certifications in Chemical Engineering are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in similar roles within the chemical industry
