Job Description

As a Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery that compacts asphalt on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces. Your role is vital to ensure the quality and durability of our infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate paving and compaction equipment efficiently.
• Monitor asphalt depth and temperature to ensure proper compaction.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to achieve project goals.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Follow safety regulations and site protocols to prevent accidents.
• Respond promptly to instructions from site foreman and project manager.
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or equivalent
• Asphalt Roller Operator certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Asphalt Roller Operator or similar role

Certifications

Languages
