Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Trim Attacher who will be responsible for attaching trims like piping, lace, or ribbons to various garments. The successful candidate will utilize multiple techniques to ensure quality and precision.

Responsibilities

• Carefully attach piping, lace, and ribbons to various garment types ensuring high standards of craftsmanship.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure that the trims are securely attached and meet company standards.
• Utilize sewing machines, scissors, and cutting tools effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues during the production process.
• Assist in inventory management of trims and other necessary materials.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
• Vocational training or certification in sewing is preferred

Experience

• Experience working with various fabrics and trims preferred.

Technical Skills

• Fabric cutting
• Machine operation

Advantageous

• Experience with computerized pattern-making software: Familiarity with design software that aids in garment construction.
• Knowledge of sustainable fabrics: Understanding of eco-friendly and sustainable fabric sourcing.
