Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, analysis, and project management. You will play a key role in developing and implementing engineering solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from conception through to completion.
• Evaluate existing products for improvements.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop maintenance procedures for mechanical systems.
• Interface with clients to gather requirements and feedback.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of current technologies.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the engineering team.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical systems design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Thermal Analysis

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Leadership

Certifications

• Leadership in Engineering Certificate
• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
