Job Description

The Central Supply Supervisor plays a crucial role in organizing and overseeing the distribution of supplies and equipment across various departments within our healthcare organisation. This position demands high organisational skills, effective communication, and a keen attention to detail to ensure all departments are fully stocked and compliant with health regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the workflow and day-to-day activities of the supply department.
  • Oversee the stock replenishment process and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely purchasing of supplies.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to enhance operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in supply management.
  • Analyze performance data to track efficiency and implement improvements.
  • Conduct audits of supply inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Liaise with departments to align supply chain needs with operational goals.
  • Lead projects focused on supply chain enhancements.
  • Train new staff and provide ongoing support for the supply chain team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Master's degree in a related field is a plus
Experience
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred, with at least 3 years of supervisory roles.
