Job Description

As a Yarn Carrier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our textile production facility. This position requires transporting yarn from storage to various production lines, monitoring inventory, and maintaining quality standards to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Transport yarn between different production stages within the facility.
• Ensure smooth flow of yarn to prevent disruptions in the production process.
• Monitor and maintain yarn stock levels to meet production demands.
• Adhere to safety protocols and handle yarn in a responsible manner.
• Perform quality checks on yarn and report any defects or issues to supervisors.
• Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of yarn carriers.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Additional vocational training or certification in textiles or related field is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the textile industry

Advantageous
