Responsibilities

• Support the daily activities of the pharmacy team.
• Assist with medication storage and labeling according to regulations.
• Participate in patient consultations under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare and maintain patient medication records.
• Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Enhance the customer experience through personalized service.
• Conduct follow-up calls to patients regarding medication adherence.
• Support initiatives for improving pharmacy services and processes.
• Assist in managing promotional events and health screenings.
• Document patient interactions and consultations accurately.

Requirements

Education

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification
• Diploma in Pharmacy Assistance is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience working in a pharmacy setting

• Customer Service

• Detail-oriented
• Problem-solving

Advantageous

• Experience with medication therapy management: Experience in assisting with medication management plans.
• Bilingual communication skills: Fluency in English and Afrikaans will be an advantage.
