Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. You will work on a variety of projects, from residential renovations to large-scale commercial builds.

Responsibilities

  • Cut and shape materials according to specifications.
  • Construct structural frameworks for residential and commercial projects.
  • Install doors, windows, flooring, and cabinetry.
  • Collaborate with other trades to facilitate project progress.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Train and mentor apprentices when required.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and health & safety regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certifications in carpentry or construction are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in carpentry
