Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with software developers and IT staff to ensure smooth production deployments and resolve any operational issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain production systems for scalability and reliability.
• Develop tools to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
• Reduce outages and improve recovery time for incidents.
• Train development teams in reliability practices.
• Enhance service monitoring and incident response processes.
• Participate in retrospectives to analyze incidents and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
• Master's degree in a related technical discipline is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a relevant SRE/DevOps role

Technical Skills

• CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Monitoring Tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Communication

Certifications

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Automation Skills: Experience in automating processes for efficiency.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform): Familiarity with Terraform for provisioning infrastructure.
