Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Construction Manager to manage ongoing projects in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring quality control, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to timelines. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients and teams, to achieve project objectives while maintaining high safety standards in all operations. Your leadership will drive the project to success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce project policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects in project design phases.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations.
• Manage site resources and maintain project quality through monitoring.
• Create project budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Engage in regular communication with clients regarding project status.
• Implement solutions for project challenges and obstacles.
• Assess project performance and suggest improvements.
• Review contracts with clients and ensure compliance.
• Promote safety culture on site among all personnel.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction roles with an emphasis on management
