We are seeking a talented Architect to join our passionate team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for designing architectural plans, ensuring they meet client requirements and comply with relevant regulations. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to create innovative and sustainable solutions that enhance functionality and aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present architectural designs based on client requirements and specifications.
• Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and progress.
• Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to ensure designs are implementable.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for building projects.
• Review and approve construction plans and specifications.
• Ensure all designs comply with local regulations and sustainability standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in architectural practices.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent
• Master's degree or higher is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the architectural field

• BIM Software

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
