We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to lead our construction projects in Durban. This role demands strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing construction teams and liaising with contractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with local authorities regarding permits and inspections.
• Supervise project execution to ensure adherence to timelines.
• Proactively address any project complications as they arise.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Prepare progress reports and track project milestones.
• Lead project team meetings and ensure clear communication among all parties.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in construction management
