Job Description

We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our fast-paced engineering team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of civil engineering principles, project management experience, and a passion for sustainable construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze costs for projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Prepare technical documentation and project proposals.
• Oversee construction activities and manage site personnel.
• Develop and implement project management plans.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• PR Eng. Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in sustainable construction: Knowledge of sustainable materials and practices.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software: Experience with software such as SAP2000 or ETABS.
