Job Description

As a Construction Laborer, your primary responsibility will be to safely handle, mix, and pour concrete for various construction projects while ensuring adherence to safety regulations. You'll be part of a bustling site, working closely with skilled tradespeople and contributing to exciting building endeavors.

Responsibilities

• Mix concrete as per specifications and project plans.
• Pour concrete and assist in finishing tasks, including leveling and smoothing surfaces.
• Perform maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure functionality.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines at the work site.
• Assist tradespeople with concrete-related tasks as needed.
• Help in maintaining an organized and clean work area.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
• Assist with other tasks, such as digging and site preparation.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in concrete handling or related roles

Technical Skills

• Concrete Handling

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with shotcrete applications: Experience applying shotcrete in construction processes is a plus.
• Knowledge of local building regulations: Understanding of local construction codes and regulations is preferred.
