Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving process improvements and maintaining product quality through innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select manufacturing technologies and equipment.
• Lead projects aimed at enhancing productivity and efficiency.
• Formulate strategies for waste reduction and energy efficiency.
• Support the development of prototypes and new products.
• Analyze production bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of all engineering work.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management or similar is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Automation Systems

Certifications

• Certified Lean Manufacturing Professional
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with robotics in manufacturing: Hands-on experience with implementing robotics in production processes.
• Knowledge of ISO standards: Familiarity with ISO standards pertaining to manufacturing quality.
