Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage and optimize our logistics processes in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of supply chain dynamics and be able to enhance our operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee supply chain logistics to enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure material availability.
• Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the supply chain.
• Maintain accurate supply chain documentation for audits.
• Track and analyze shipment performance and logistics costs.
• Participate in cross-functional team projects to enhance overall operations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers.
• Continuously identify areas for improvement in our logistics processes.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for supply chain operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a supply chain or logistics role

Technical Skills

• SAP or Oracle ERP Systems
• Data Analysis Tools

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Demand Planning: Knowledge in forecasting demand to optimize inventory levels.
• Multilingual Skills: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
