Job Description

We are on the lookout for a highly organized Logistics Coordinator to manage our supply chain and logistics operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics processes and will excel in coordinating the movement of goods from suppliers to customers. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient operations and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal service levels.
• Monitor freight costs and negotiate contracts with carriers.
• Utilize logistics software to improve tracking and efficiency.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts related to logistics and inventory.
• Participate in the development of logistics strategies to improve overall operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
