Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cutting and Slicing Machine Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining slitting machines to produce precise cuts according to customer specifications, ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitting machines in compliance with production requirements.
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to ensure standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery for optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products to verify adherence to specifications.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials.
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace.
• Document production data and maintenance records consistently.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Technical qualification in engineering or manufacturing is advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years' experience operating slitting machines in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Problem-solving skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
