Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Architect to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing innovative and sustainable building solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into functional designs, while also collaborating with engineers and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design meetings and develop project scopes.
• Create innovative designs that enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality.
• Ensure that environmental sustainability practices are integrated into design.
• Collaborate on community projects, ensuring designs meet local aesthetic and cultural considerations.
• Supervise junior architects and interns in their supporting roles.
• Present architectural concepts to stakeholders for feedback and collaboration.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring delivery standards are maintained.
• Set and review project timelines with key stakeholders, adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp
• Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Project Management
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Architect (South Africa)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
