Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Architect to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing innovative and sustainable building solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into functional designs, while also collaborating with engineers and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs in accordance with client specifications and building regulations.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Conduct site visits and inspections during and after construction to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
• Utilize architectural software and tools to create detailed drawings and models.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp
• Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Project Management
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Architect (South Africa)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
