Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Architect to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing innovative and sustainable building solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into functional designs, while also collaborating with engineers and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee a variety of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on design options.
• Develop detailed construction documentation and specifications.
• Work closely with the project team to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and bid submissions.
• Evaluate existing building structures to formulate renovation or restoration strategies.
• Foster relationships with vendors and suppliers for procurement of materials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp
• Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Project Management
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Architect (South Africa)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
