We are seeking a talented Chemical Engineer to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. You will play a critical role in designing, optimizing, and implementing chemical processes that meet industry standards and promote sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and a deep understanding of chemical principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts in process development and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate and select equipment for chemical processes.
• Implement process control strategies to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct training for operational staff on new processes.
• Review and improve existing manufacturing procedures.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control team for product testing.
• Participate in benchmarking and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a manufacturing or R&D environment

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in pilot plant operations: Hands-on experience in pilot-scale operations for process development.
