Responsibilities

• Assess risk associated with insurance applicants through analytical methods.
• Draft policy documentation based on underwriting assessments.

• Assist with claims reviews related to underwriting decisions.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by evaluating coverage options.
• Create training materials for junior underwriting personnel.
• Participate in industry conferences and training sessions to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Master's degree in Risk Management is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in underwriting, preferably in the insurance sector

• Insurance Regulations Knowledge
• Data Analysis

• Negotiation Skills
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)
• Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)

Languages
