Job Description

The Woodworking Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender will be responsible for setting up and operating woodworking machines to produce high-quality components. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of metalworking principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and load raw materials into woodworking machines.
• Calibrate machines, adjusting speeds, tooling, and fixtures.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
• Follow all safety procedures and health regulations.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Document production processes and report on outputs.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet targets.
• Maintain accurate inventory of materials.

Requirements

Education

• National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
• Trade Test as a Lathe Machinist

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
