Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clock Repairer to join our team at Clock Solutions Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining clocks of various types and brands, ensuring they function accurately and beautifully.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough repairs on a variety of clocks.
• Assemble and disassemble clock mechanisms with precision.
• Identify and fix common and complex clock issues.
• Ensure all clock parts are well-maintained and functional.
• Adjust settings and calibrate mechanisms for accuracy.
• Replace outdated or damaged components of clocks.
• Verify the performance of clocks post-repair.
• Manage inventory levels of necessary clock parts.
• Deliver detailed repair estimates to customers.
• Engage with clients for progress updates on repairs.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in clock repair or horology is advantageous

Experience

• Experience working with antique or vintage clocks is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Timepiece restoration
• Familiarity with various clock brands and models

Soft Skills

• Patient and methodical
• Good time-management skills

Certifications

• Certification in clock repair or horology

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with clock case restoration: Skill in restoring the exterior of timepieces.
• Experience in clock maintenance and servicing: Knowledge of regular maintenance practices for clocks.
