Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Electrical Engineer to contribute to our projects in Midrand. Ideal candidates will have expertise in electrical engineering principles, an understanding of regulatory standards, and experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and simulations to predict system behavior.
• Assist with procurement and vendor selection for electrical components.
• Develop project timelines and manage budgets.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all project sites.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer license is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• PLC Programming
• Power System Analysis
• Load Flow Analysis

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Electrical Engineer
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Renewable Energy Projects: Familiarity with solar and wind energy systems.
• Knowledge of South African Electrical Standards: Understanding of SANS regulations and compliance.
