Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Tester who is passionate about software quality. As part of our team in Pretoria, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards by implementing robust testing processes. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be crucial in identifying issues before product release.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans.
• Review and analyze system specifications.
• Develop and execute manual and automated testing strategies.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts).
• Assess the quality of software and its components.
• Conduct reviews and provide feedback on releases.
• Train and mentor junior QA testers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a QA role

Technical Skills

• API Testing

• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CST)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CI/CD practices: Understanding of Continuous Integration and Deployment processes.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments: Experience with testing applications in cloud environments.
