Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Civil Engineer, where you will manage and contribute to exciting civil projects in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering designs meet the required standards, while also collaborating closely with other professionals in the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects in accordance with civil engineering principles.
• Perform risk assessments and environmental impact studies.
• Liaise with local authorities regarding permits and regulations.
• Supervise construction sites and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Prepare budget estimates and monitor project expenditures.
• Conduct periodic inspections and audits of project progress.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
• Evaluate project outcomes and incorporate lessons learned.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar
• Registered Engineer (Pr.Eng)

Languages

• English: Fluent
