Tax Analyst

Job Description

As a Tax Analyst in our Pretoria office, you will ensure that clients operate within the tax regulations while maximizing potential tax savings. You will assist in various tax-related projects and collaborate closely with clients to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct thorough research on tax regulations and procedures.
• Advise clients on various tax matters to ensure compliance.
• Assist in tax audits and represent clients during tax assessments.
• Stay current on changes to tax legislation and policies.
• Provide support in tax planning and strategy development.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure alignment on tax-related issues.
• Assist clients with disputes related to tax issues.
• Maintain organized tax documentation and records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree or relevant certifications (SAIT or equivalent) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tax compliance and advisory

• Tax Law Knowledge

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• SAIT Registered Tax Practitioner

Languages

• English: Fluent
