Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Doctor to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our veterinary practice, you will provide high-quality medical care to a diverse range of animals. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating various conditions, performing surgical procedures, and educating pet owners on health and nutritional care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine check-ups and emergency medical procedures.
• Diagnose and treat a range of conditions, from minor to critical.
• Foster a positive relationship with pet owners through excellent communication.
• Develop new protocols to improve patient care.
• Conduct surgical operations with high precision.
• Support and guide the veterinary staff.
• Analyze lab results and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
• Implement and uphold clinic standards of care.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Specializations preferred (e.g., internal medicine, surgery)

Experience

• 4+ years of field experience preferred
