Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Doctor to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our veterinary practice, you will provide high-quality medical care to a diverse range of animals. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating various conditions, performing surgical procedures, and educating pet owners on health and nutritional care.

Responsibilities

• Examine animals and diagnose health issues.
• Administer vaccinations and medications.
• Perform surgical procedures when necessary.
• Educate pet owners on nutrition, preventive care, and wellness.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records for patient files.
• Provide emergency care as needed.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated in veterinary practices.
• Participate in community outreach and animal welfare initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Specializations preferred (e.g., internal medicine, surgery)

Experience

• 4+ years of field experience preferred
