Responsibilities

• Manage patient pain and anxiety during procedures.

• Work closely with dental assistants to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in continuing education to advance skills.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
• Engage with patients to reinforce trust and rapport.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry
• Postgraduate qualifications in Dentistry are preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in dentistry

Technical Skills

• Proficient in dental diagnosis and treatment
• Dental surgery skills

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Patient care

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
