Orthotic Fabricator Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Orthotic Fabricator Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and fitting orthotic devices according to patient requirements and medical prescriptions. This role requires strong manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with a team to ensure seamless fabrication processes.
• Continuously improve fabrication techniques and processes for enhanced efficiency.
• Conduct quality checks on fabricated devices before patient fittings.
• Support the training of junior technicians on fabrication processes and best practices.
• Stay updated on new materials and technologies in orthotic fabrication.

Requirements

Experience

• Previous experience with CAD/CAM systems is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• CAD/CAM Knowledge
• Software Proficiency

Advantageous

• Certification or diploma in Orthotic Fabrication: Professional certification demonstrating expertise in orthotic fabrication.
• Experience with specialized orthotic software or CAD/CAM systems: Knowledge of software tools used for designing orthotic devices.
