We are seeking a skilled Pressure Steamer Tender to operate and maintain our pressure steamers efficiently. The successful candidate will ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally and that the steaming process meets specifications.
Responsibilities
Operate pressure steamers efficiently with a focus on safety and quality.
Perform regular maintenance checks on steaming equipment.
Prepare and portion food products according to recipe and client orders.
Assist with inventory tracking and supply ordering.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Chef.
Requirements
Education
Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
Certification in culinary arts or related field is a bonus
Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in food service or production environments.
