Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Clinical Pharmacist to join our Pretoria team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of pharmaceutical care and medication management, ensuring safe and effective medication use among our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient medication regimens and provide recommendations.
  • Deliver pharmaceutical care to diverse patient populations.
  • Participate in research initiatives to enhance clinical practices.
  • Support the training and mentoring of junior pharmacy staff.
  • Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare providers for integrated patient care.
  • Implement quality improvement measures within the pharmacy.
  • Conduct patient medication education sessions.
  • Provide on-call support for medication-related inquiries.
  • Assist in managing pharmacy inventory and supplies.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality within the pharmacy.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Pharmacy are advantageous
Experience
  • At least 3 years of clinical pharmacy experience in a healthcare setting
