Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing all aspects of construction, from planning to execution. You will ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of work.
• Assist in selecting subcontractors and evaluating their performance.
• Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Estimate costs and prepare budget proposals for projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects to ensure design integrity.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to upper management.
• Facilitate training and safety protocol adherence among site workers.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Construction Management or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in managing construction projects
