Job Description

We are in search of a motivated Construction Project Coordinator to oversee various construction projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, working closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on construction sites and manage project teams.
• Prepare detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring all phases of the project are accounted for.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections to assess progress and adherence to design specifications.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment required for the project.
• Manage project changes and adjustments to budgets and timelines.
• Review and approve contractor payment applications.
• Foster a safety culture among all project team members.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and prepare final reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction management or coordination

Technical Skills

• Construction Regulations Knowledge

Certifications

• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
