We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our vibrant team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have experience in grooming various breeds, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring each pet has a positive grooming experience. Responsibilities

• Administer basic health checks on pets prior to grooming.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding pet grooming needs.
• Stay updated on the latest grooming styles and trends.
• Promote additional services to pet owners as needed.
• Create a welcoming and friendly environment for both pets and owners.
• Report any health or behavior issues noticed during grooming to management.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Animal Behavior or Pet Care is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a grooming environment

Technical Skills

• Grooming Tools Proficiency
• First Aid for Pets

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Empathy

Certifications

• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with high-maintenance breeds: Familiarity with grooming requirements of challenging breeds.
• Additional certifications in animal care: Further training in animal behavior or care is advantageous.
