Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will deliver high-quality psychological services to individuals seeking support. You will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing therapy, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to promote mental wellness in our community.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
• Design and implement treatment strategies for individuals and families.
• Facilitate workshops and presentations on mental health themes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings regarding client care.
• Monitor and report on therapeutic outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and client privacy.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is preferred
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience in mental health services

• Trauma-Informed Care

• Crisis Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with mindfulness-based therapies: Knowledge and application of mindfulness techniques in therapy.
