We are on the hunt for a Cybersecurity Specialist to bolster our security team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will take charge of identifying vulnerabilities and implementing safeguards to protect sensitive information across our systems. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for cybersecurity are essential to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat analysis and vulnerability assessments regularly.
• Implement measures to protect digital assets from cyber threats.
• Engage in incident response efforts and lead recovery operations.
• Support the IT team in maintaining a secure network environment.
• Lead the creation of security documentation and reports.
• Work with law enforcement as needed on cybersecurity issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security or related field
• Certifications in security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT security roles with proven track record
