We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and practices, along with hands-on experience in safeguarding sensitive information and networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security monitoring systems.
• Review and improve existing security architectures.
• Coordinate with law enforcement on cybersecurity incidents.
• Lead incident response efforts and manage threat intelligence.
• Participate in cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
• Foster a culture of security within the organization.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Relevant certifications such as CISM or CRISC are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on risk management
