UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing user-friendly interfaces and creating engaging user experiences for our products. You will collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that design concepts are effectively implemented.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX projects from concept through execution.
• Conduct A/B testing on designs to improve user engagement.
• Create design documents and specifications for the development team.
• Mentor and guide junior designers in the team.
• Work closely with product managers and marketing teams.
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Maintain organized design files and assets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent

Experience

• 4+ years of professional UX/UI design experience

Technical Skills

• Information Architecture
• Visual Design

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design: Ability to design user interfaces specifically for mobile applications.
• Experience with accessibility design principles: Understanding of how to design for inclusive user experiences.
