Construction Manager

Job Description

As a Construction Manager, you will oversee various construction projects from inception to completion in Durban. You will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while adhering to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction teams and liaising with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion.
• Manage safety protocols and ensure site safety regulations are met.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to review project designs.
• Control project costs and monitor progress against timelines.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather feedback.
• Ensure materials and labor meet quality standards.
• Provide leadership and direction to the project team.
• Maintain compliance with local and national building codes.
• Facilitate project handover and close-out processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the construction field
