Chemical Engineer

We are on the lookout for a driven Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in East London. The ideal candidate will apply their expertise in chemical processes to design and implement solutions that optimize production and ensure safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Assess and enhance existing production processes for efficiency.
• Liaison with suppliers to source raw materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of testing data and results.
• Conduct cost analyses on various projects.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators of production.
• Implement environmental management systems in production.
• Engage in research and development of new chemical products.
• Lead initiatives to reduce waste and improve sustainability practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Professional certification in Process Safety is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the chemical industry

• Chemical Process Simulation

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
