Job Description

As a Pet Groomer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with pets every day. Your responsibilities will include washing, cutting, and styling fur, as well as ensuring the health and safety of our furry clients. A love for animals and some grooming experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-grooming assessments to determine pets' grooming needs.
• Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring a stress-free experience.
• Utilize appropriate grooming products and techniques while following safety protocols.
• Engage with clients to build rapport and encourage repeat business.
• Keep the grooming area tidy and organized throughout the day.
• Provide recommendations for grooming packages and additional services.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a pet grooming course
• Associate degree in Animal Science is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on grooming experience

Technical Skills

• Fur types knowledge
• Styling techniques

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• First Aid Certification for Pets

Languages

• English: Fluent
