Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architect to join our growing team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. You should have a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality, as well as great communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Design architectural plans and layouts for residential and commercial projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure designs are feasible.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and compliance with building regulations.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
• Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with architectural trends and developments in sustainable design.
• Review construction progress and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Additional certifications in project management are a plus

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role

• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
