UI/UX Researcher

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate UI/UX Researcher to join our innovative team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting user research, analyzing data, and translating insights into actionable design recommendations. This role is critical in ensuring our products meet user needs and expectations while delivering exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct in-depth user interviews.
• Utilize design thinking methodologies to solve user problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences.
• Draft reports summarizing research findings and recommended actions.
• Utilize tools such as Sketch and Figma for prototyping and user testing.
• Develop metrics to measure user satisfaction and engagement.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to ideate solutions.
• Create wireframes and prototypes based on research insights.
• Document best practices and foster a culture of user-centered design.
• Educate stakeholders on user research methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in similar role

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Remote User Testing: Skilled in conducting remote usability tests.
