As a Laser Set Up Operator, you will play a key role in our production process by setting up and operating laser cutting machines to create high-quality metal parts. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser cutting equipment for production.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings for quality production.
• Log production data, including inventory levels and machine downtime.
• Work collaboratively to improve production processes and efficiency.
• Conduct safety checks prior to starting operations.
• Keep machinery and work area clean and organized.
• Assist in implementing quality control measures.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production targets.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Trade qualification in metal fabrication or similar field is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in laser cutting or metal fabrication.
