Job Description

We are looking for a Healthcare Administrator to support our healthcare facility in Pretoria. The successful candidate will oversee the administrative functions, ensure compliance with regulations, and enhance operational efficiency. A background in healthcare management is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain oversight of the healthcare facility’s operations.
  • Lead administrative staff in delivering efficient services.
  • Implement strategic plans to improve health standards.
  • Train and mentor new administrative employees.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with healthcare vendors.
  • Monitor and analyze patient feedback for service improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Coordinate health education programs for staff and patients.
  • Develop emergency preparedness plans and procedures.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of medical supplies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Services or related field
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration is an advantage
