Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate must be passionate about patient care and have a solid understanding of medications and their effects. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on their proper use, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal pharmaceutical care and service delivery.
• Conduct medication reviews and drug utilization assessments.
• Implement pharmacy protocols and quality improvement measures.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Develop patient education materials and programs.
• Participate in departmental meetings and policy development.
• Provide support to the Pharmacy Manager in daily operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent

Experience

• 1+ years of experience preferred

• Patient Counseling

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in clinical pharmacy: Hands-on experience in providing clinical pharmacy services.
• Advanced Pharmaceutical Care training: Training in specialized areas of pharmaceutical care.
